{"id":465259,"date":"2025-04-28T11:37:03","date_gmt":"2025-04-28T07:37:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/unec-kitabxana-informasiya-merkezinin-emekdaslari-azerbaycan-ifla-elaqeleri-2019-2024-seminarinda-istirak-edibler\/"},"modified":"2025-04-30T09:33:23","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T05:33:23","slug":"unec-kitabxana-informasiya-merkezinin-emekdaslari-azerbaycan-ifla-elaqeleri-2019-2024-seminarinda-istirak-edibler","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/unec-kitabxana-informasiya-merkezinin-emekdaslari-azerbaycan-ifla-elaqeleri-2019-2024-seminarinda-istirak-edibler\/","title":{"rendered":"Participation of UNEC Library and Information Center Staff in the Seminar \u201cAzerbaijan &#8211; IFLA Relations 2019\u20132024\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><strong>On the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day, the staff of the Library and Information Center (LIC) of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/\">UNEC<\/a><\/span>) participated in a practical seminar entitled \u201cAzerbaijan &#8211; <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/iflaglobal\/\">IFLA<\/a><\/span> Relations 2019\u20132024: The Experience of the ADA University Library.\u201d The event was organized by the ADA University Library in collaboration with UNEC\u2019s Library and Information Center, the Scientific Library Center of Western Caspian University, and the Library and Information Center of Sumgayit State University.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The seminar featured insightful presentations and constructive discussions on global library initiatives, climate action, and inclusive resource sharing. As a representative of a partner institution, the Director of UNEC LIC, Ph.D. in History Adila Abdullayeva, addressed the participants and provided comprehensive information regarding several joint international projects.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For the first time, the international RSCVD platform (<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/rscvd.ifla.org\/\">https:\/\/rscvd.ifla.org\/<\/a><\/span>) was introduced during the seminar. The presentation encouraged Azerbaijani libraries to register on the platform and actively engage in global document and resource exchange among libraries and information centers. It was highlighted that UNEC and ADA University were the first institutions in Azerbaijan to utilize the RSCVD platform.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It should be noted that by joining the RSCVD platform (<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/app.rscvd.ifla.org\/\">https:\/\/app.rscvd.ifla.org\/<\/a><\/span>), libraries in Azerbaijan are granted free access to electronic document delivery services.
