The next hearings of a series of reports about the Nobel Laureates in Economy were held within the \u201cScience Month\u201d at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on the occasion of the World Science Day.<\/p>\n
Making an opening speech, Director of the Science and Innovations Center<\/a><\/span>, Professor Sakit Yagubov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0made the attendees with the actions plan on the \u201cScience Month\u201d. He said the \u201cScience Month\u201d serves to convert UNEC into the scientific-research oriented university. S.Yagubov brought to attention that the competition of scientific articles written by UNEC\u2019s academic staff, young research fellows, graduate and undergraduate students would be held and invited the participants to be active within the contests.<\/p>\n The scientific secretary of the UNEC Scientific-research Institute of Economic Studies Rafail Rzayev made a presentation about Jean Tirole\u2019s life and scientific activity.The lecturer spoke about the key points of scientist\u2019s \u201canalysis of market power and its regulation\u201d for what he received the Nobel Laureate. He said Jean Tirole is the author of more than 100 scientific works on the theory of anti-monopoly regulation and impact of business reputation on the economy. The world\u2019s prominent scholars\u2019 views about Jean Tirole who cooperate with him were sounded within the event.<\/p>\n Event broadcast lively on UNEC\u2019s official Facebook was in progress with debates.<\/p>\n It should be noted that a series of events has been started at UNEC within the \u201cScience Month\u201d in the months October- November. A range of events such as scientific workshops, round-table discussions are in progress within the \u201cScience Month\u201d at UNEC. The competition of UNEC\u2019s academic staff\u2019s, young research fellows\u2019 and graduate students\u2019 articles on \u201cSocio- economic Development of Azerbaijan: Achievements and Perspectives\u201d will take place in accordance with the program. The \u201cScience Month\u201d will be completed on November 10 \u201cWorld Science Day for Peace and Development\u201d.
