A Student-scientific conference on \u201cThe Role of Financial Institutions in ensuring the Sustainability of Economic Growth in Azerbaijan\u201d has been held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).<\/p>\n
The conference organized by the Student Scientific Society<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(SSS) of the School of Finance and Accounting<\/a><\/span>\u00a0was chaired by the Vice-rector of UNEC for Students\u2019 Affairs Saadat Gandilova<\/a><\/span>, Dean of the School of Finance and Accounting Geray Musayev<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and Head of the Department of Finance and Financial Institutions<\/a><\/span>\u00a0Avaz Alakbarov<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n Eighteen reports were heard within the conference attended by 50 students. After the discussions, Mammadagha Mammadov\u2019s article on \u201cThe Role of Commercial Banks in Diversification of Economy\u201d was awarded by the jury. Saida Khalil\u2019s article on \u201cThe Role of Investments in ensuring Sustainable Socio-economic Development of the Country\u201d and Aygun Abbasova\u2019s article on \u201cInvestments in Azerbaijan\u2019s Economy and its Impact on the Development of Non-oil Sector\u201d became II. Four III places were defined in the Conference.
