A two-day seminar on \u201cRegional Session for Practical Advice\u201d was in progress at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on December 16.<\/p>\n
The workshop is organized with support of the Ministries of Education, Economy and Communication and Higher Technologies and initiative of \u201cRussian Venture Company\u201d and \u201cGlobal Venture Alliance\u201d fund. The Director of UNEC International School of Economics<\/a><\/span>\u00a0Anar Rzayev<\/a><\/span> delivered the information about the start-up projects of Innovative Business Incubator<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and Technology Transfer Center<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n Leading trainer Maksim Kisiloyov made a speech on \u201cLeadership and Teamwork for Innovative Start-up\u201d. He spoke about the functions of the leader and especially emphasized the leader\u2019s role in this environment. The speaker explained the methods of assessment of leaders and collection of the team in the example of successful start-up companies. The difference of the group gathered for start-up company from the team, features of the leader in the group and the team and the stages of the formation of the team were welcomed by the participants. He revealed the roles in a team in accordance with Belb\u2019s and Abez\u2019s theories.<\/p>\n Speaking about a leader\u2019s ability to communicate, M.Kisilyov explained effective communication techniques with any type of audience, principles and technologies to be persuasive and the ways of non-financial motivation of the teams. He revealed the appointment of the main members of the team and secrets to improve their motivation. He also explained the ways to motivate start-up, mentor, employee and investor. The speaker shared his knowledge of a system of indicators to encourage the team, connection of strategy, achieving the goal and motivation, including the balance of financial and non-financial motivation.<\/p>\n The scientific seminar was completed after the debates.
