Head of the Science Department<\/a><\/span>\u00a0of UNEC, Professor Zahid Mammadov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0said the services provided by \u201cThomson Reuters\u201d is very important for adapting scientific research conducted in our country to the world standards, as well as for our scholars in terms of becoming informed about the scientific-research conducted in the world. With the help of this the scientists will be able to make comparative assessment of the magazines on their study area and choose journals in a more effective way.<\/p>\n Z.Mammadov provided the participants with the information about the international scientific conference on \u201cManagement Model of Scientific Activity in Modern Universities: Innovative Development, Challenges and Perspectives\u201d to be jointly held by UNEC and \u201cThomson Reuters\u201d in May.<\/p>\n Then an expert of Azerbaijan Office of the agency Aygun Babazade delivered detailed information about the global scientific basis of \u201cThomson Reuters\u201d for higher education institutions- \u201cWeb of Science\u201d platform. She noted that the results achieved by the prominent scholars who conduct research on any area of the science and decisions made by are available on \u201cWeb of Science\u201d. All these help to succeed at any field and be granted as well. The portal is also the most extensive database of scientific synopsis.
