A competition of articles on \u201cWomen are Stronghold of our State, Statehood, Independence, today and Future\u201d dedicated to the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s 94th<\/sup>Anniversary started at UNEC.<\/p>\n

A Deputy Chairman of the Committee on the competition initiated by the State Committee on Family, Woman and Child Problems of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sadagat Gahramanova, Director of the Department of Political Science and Political Sociology of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the ANAS Rena Mirzezade.<\/p>\n

Vice-rector of UNEC for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Saadat Gandilova<\/a><\/span>\u00a0informed the students about the rivalry. She said the purpose is the promotion of wise insight and advice about Azerbaijani woman by the National Leader HeydarAliyev and creation of condition to discover talented young people\u2019s possibilities. S.Gandilova urged the students to be active in the competition.<\/p>\n

S.Gahramanova spoke about the decrees and orders signed to ensure the protection of status of women in society by the Great Leader. She said the orders were historical steps taken towards assurance of women\u2019s rights. She added as a result of this policy Azerbaijani women are represented in every sphere of life.<\/p>\n

R.Mirzezade delivered the information about the gender problems, promotion of the national legislation in Azerbaijan within 25 years and the mechanisms affecting the lives of the community in this direction. She said the State Committee on Woman Issues has been established to implement woman policy in the country according to Heydar Aliyev\u2019s decree dated on January 14 1998. We can proudly say that it was a single government agency in the CIS managed in women\u2019s problems.<\/p>\n

A Chairperson of the NAP Sabail district Organization Women Council, Associate Professor of UNEC Tarana Kerimova<\/a><\/span>\u00a0said that today the role of Azerbaijan\u2019s women in public life more clearly manifests itself in Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva\u2019s example. Azerbaijani state and society are proud of the kind of women. One of the main directions of the state policy conducted in our country is to maintain active participation of Azerbaijani woman in the country\u2019s social and political life and support them to contribute to the development of our country.<\/p>\n

Students were provided with the terms of the competition after the speeches. It was said those who want to participate in the competition should sent their articles and the information about themselves (name, surname, patronymic, contacts and the name of the institution they study) to meqalemusabiqe@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/span> The articles should be written with Arial font 14, 3-5 pages volume in Azerbaijani or Russian Languages.<\/p>\n

Winners will be awarded in the end of the contest. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
