Meeting on the issues arising from the republican deliberation of non-oil exporters, which was chaired by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Yevlakh has been held at UNEC.<\/p>\n
Speaking about the benefits of non-oil sector to the country\u2019s economy, Rector Professor Adalat Muradov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0highlighted that the University would support the state strategy in this area, targets set forth by the President Ilham Aliyev and the entrepreneurs of the export-oriented enterprises.<\/p>\n Afterwards, the position of the scholars on stimulating non-oil exports were heard and proposals on the development of specialists on exports were analyzed within the debates. The participants of the meeting evaluated the proposal on the establishment of the center that will cover the activities of non-oil exports in a positive manner. The main objective of the center to operate under the Department of \u201cTrade and Organization of Customs<\/a><\/span>\u201d would be the development of non-oil \u00a0fields in the country and support the proposals on increasing export potential.<\/p>\n To ensure the development of personnel for this area of the economy, it was offered to prepare export-oriented curricula. The significance of rendering methodological support to exporters was stressed and the preparation of the cooperation principles in this field was instructed. Proposals on increasing attention to the issues of export in dissertations were assessed positively. Decisions on developing specialists in the Graduate Center<\/a><\/span>\u00a0of UNEC, UNEC Business Center<\/a><\/span>, International Graduate and Doctorate Center, establishing new majors, conducting large-scale scientific research studies at the Scientific Research Institute of Economic Studies<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and organizing the work to investigate international markets aiming to support exporter enterprises were also made.
