Besides, UNEC\u2019s academic staff, a Deputy Minister of Economy Sahil Babayev attended the event held on \u201cThe Application of the Political Regime of Effective Foreign Trade: Problems and Perspectives\u201d. Participants of the event laid flowers at the National Leader\u2019s bust erected in the university and paid tribute to the Great Leader\u2019s memory with a minute\u2019s silence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A documentary film \u201cGenius Personality\u201d dedicated to the National Leader was demonstrated within the event. Vice- rector of UNEC for Administrational and Organizational Affairs Shaig Asgerov delivered expanded information about the founder of independent Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. He said that a genius personality who devoted his life to his people and Azerbaijan attached great importance to the progress of our country regardless of socio-political system. Azerbaijan has become a speedy developing country as a result of the improvement of a political system under the Great Leader\u2019s leadership, creation of the statehood traditions and the establishment of the ideology of Azerbaijanism. Today the President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues this policy. Shaig Asgerov brought to attention that the conferences, seminars are regularly organized at UNEC to study the National Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s heritage and to deliver them to the young generation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deputy Minister of Economy Sahil Babayev delivered the information about the reforms implemented in Azerbaijan. He revealed the main targets conducted by the President. He said that the diversification of economy, expansion of export potential and improvement export capacity of the goods of non-oil products is the priority direction of the country\u2019s economy. Bringing to attention that the export of non-oil products has increased 32,5 per cent in 2017 in compare with the last year, the Deputy Minister emphasized all the necessary conditions are created for the export of commodities produced by enterprises to foreign countries. He added significant affairs in tourism, agriculture and other non-oil areas of Azerbaijan are implemented and suitable business environment is created here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Head of the Department of International Economic, Professor Irshad Kerimli made a speech on \u201cCurrency Safety of Azerbaijan\u2019s Export Transactions\u201d. He revealed initial terms of the currency safety of the export, domestic characteristics and effective factors of currency regulations in export and import transactions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Making a report on \u201cDirections of the Improvement of non-oil Export Potential of Azerbaijan in modern times\u201d, Scientific Secretary of the Scientific-Research Institute of Economic Studies under UNEC Rafail Rzayev made proposals on stimulating the export of non-oil products.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">94 UNEC employees and students taken the membership of the New Azerbaijan Party were introduced their membership cards within the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Event dedicated to the 94th\u00a0anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s birthday has been held at UNEC on May 5.
