The letter stated that along with his pedagogical performances, the mathematician- scientist who dedicated a large part of his life to the training of cadres at the university, made tremendous contributions to the development of the science mathematics. The textbooks \u201cLinear Algebra and Mathematical Analysis\u201d, \u201cProbability Theory and Mathematical Statistics\u201d developed with his participation have played important role in the teaching of mathematics. The scholar\u2019s research articles have been published in prestigious journals and included in the catalogues of famous libraries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The School Dean, Assistant Professor <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/dean-of-the-faculty-of-commerce-ahmadov-miragha-maharram\/\">Miragha Ahmadov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0spoke about the pedagogical performance of the scientist. He said M.Garayev\u2019s educational activities were appreciated by the state in a high manner. The scholar was awarded the title of the Honorary Teacher by the Presidential Decree in 2005; at the same time, he was awarded a badge of \u201cLeading Person of Education\u201d, \u201cGolden Jubilee Medal of the University\u201d and honorary diplomas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A professor-counselor of the Department \u201cMathematics\u201d Mammad Mammadov shared his memories about Mustafa teacher. Head of the Department \u201cMathematics\u201d, Professor Natig Ahmadov, Head of the Department \u201c<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/research\/chairs\/marketing\/\">Marketing<\/a><\/span>\u201d, Professor <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/assistant-professor-imanov-telman-iman\/\">Telman Imanov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and his teachers told positive words about the scientist and wished him a long and healthy life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poetries dedicated to the scholar\u2019s life were sounded after speeches.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mustafa Garayev expressed gratitude to the university administration and academic staff who worked with him and his students as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A meeting in connection with the Assistant Professor of the Department \u201cMathematics\u201d, Honorary Professor of UNEC Mustafa Garayev\u2019s\u00a0retirement was held in UNEC Department of Business and Management.
