At the opening of the event held at UNEC, the memory of the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
The rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov, said that a new chairman will be elected to the district organization due to the change of position of the previous chairman of the district organization of the party located at Istiglaliyet 6.
The rector said that the most important days in the history of Azerbaijan are being experienced and it is a great honor that this date coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. The rector pointed out that the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country have been fully ensured by the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and the heroism of our victorious army. The Rector said that this victory has set certain tasks for each of us, that the territorial party organization located at Istiglaliyet 6 will further expand its ranks and make important contributions to the successfully conducted state policy based on Heydar Aliyev’s strategy.
Mukhtar Nagiyev, chairman of the Sabail regional organization of NAP, who participated in the meeting, spoke about the activities of the New Azerbaijan Party and the tasks ahead.
Then the elections of the new chairman and deputy were held in the territorial party organization located at Istiglaliyet 6. The Vice-Rector for Administrative and Organizational Affairs of UNEC Associate Professor Shaig Askerov was elected the new chairman of the district organization, the previous vice-chairman and the head of the part-time education department Yalchin Kocharli was re-elected as the vice-chairman of the organization.
Mukhtar Naghiyev congratulated the new chairman and deputy and wished them success in their activities.
The new chairman of the district party organization at the address “Istiglaliyet 6” Assoc. Professor Shaig Asgarov expressed his gratitude for the trust shown to him and noted that he will justify this trust and will cope with the tasks set before him.
At the event, cards were presented to the students of UNEC, who became new members of NAP.
