Associate Professor Qurbanova Farida Akhmad
In 1977 she graduated from the faculty of “Planning of National Economy” of Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics.
She started her career at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics (promoted as laboratory assistant, senior laboratory assistant, junior research assistant, leading research assistant, lecturer, senior lecturer and associate professor).
In 2000 she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences on the theme: “Social and economic problems of development of housing and communal services in the market economy”. In 2000 she was awarded the diploma of Candidate of Economic Sciences by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In 2000 she worked as a lecturer at the department of “Economics and Management of the Social Sphere”. In 2006 she was elected as a senior lecturer. In January 2014 she was elected Associate Professor.
She is the author of 22 scientific and methodical works, including 3 monographs, programs and methodical manuals from 1994 to 2014.
In 2000 her monographs “Stages of development of housing and communal services in the market economy”, in 2006 “Transformation and perspective development of housing and communal services in market economy”, in 2007 “Transformation of the economies of transition countries in the context of integration” were published. She is the author of a training program on the subject “Economics and management of paid services to the public” published by the order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 537 dated 09.04.2012 and methodical manual of that subject approved by Protocol No. 582 of 16.04.2012. She is currently working on a textbook on the subject “Economics and Management of Paid Services to the population”.
