Cand. of Phys.mathem.scien., Assoc.Prof. Mamtiyev Kamil Karim
He was born on February 5, 1952 in Hajialli village of Barda region.
In 1968, he graduated from Mehdikhanli village secondary school and entered the faculty of mechanics and mathematics of Azerbaijan State University (now Baku State University).
In 1973-1994 he worked as a senior researcher at the Institute of Cybernetics of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
In 1988, he defended his dissertation on “Numerical solution of optimal control problems for distributed parametric nonlinear systems in the operation of gas fields.” He was awarded the degree of Candidate of Sciences.

In 1994-2000 he worked at Azerbaijan State Commodity-Commercial Institute.
Since 2000, he has been an associate professor at the department of Informatics of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and since 2018, he has been an associate professor at the department of Digital Economy and ICT.
He is the author of textbooks like “Fundamentals of Informatics”, “General instructions and problems of programming in BASIC”, “Methodical instructions on the description of linear, branching and periodic structural algorithms”, and more than 20 scientific articles.
He is married and has two children.
