A memorial ceremony dedicated to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s memory has been held at Zagatala Branch of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
Participants of the event paid tribute to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s memory laying flowers at his bust erected in the university.
Director of UNEC’s Zagatala Branch, Professor Orujali Rzayev spoke about the Great Leader’s life and activity, his role in the history of Azerbaijan. He said Heydar Aliyev’s name became a symbol of the history of Azerbaijani people covering the period of 40 year: “He was a skillful politician who can say his word in solving the important issues in politics in the world but not just across the country. O. Rzayev stressed that the policy founded by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev is successfully continued by a worthy successor of his political course President Ilham Aliyev.

Head of the Department of “General Disciplines”, Associate Professor Hagigat Gadimova made a speech on “A Leader devoted his Life to Motherland” within the event.
