Slogan of UNEC’s “Professors’ Club”: “Our biggest objective is to support the development of science and education”
First meeting of the members of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) “Professors’ Club” has taken place on June 25.
Beside the club members consisting of UNEC Professors, full member of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Dr of History, Professor, Honored Scientist, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Elders, great scientist and public figure Teymur Bunyadov also attended the meeting organized at the seaside recreation center, in the heart of Caspian Sea.
The Charter of the “professors’ Club’ was introduced to the members during the meeting.
Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, Head of UNEC Department of Finance and Financial Institutions, Dr of Economy Avaz Alakbarov spoke about the significance of the meeting. He said that such meetings and discussions will lead to a great wave of success to the level of our education and science. A. Alakbarov sounded the club’s motto: “Our biggest objective is to support the development of science and education.” Then the members were presented the badges (logo) of the club.
The academician Teymur Bunyadov spoke about the establishment of the science of archeology and ethnography and the values of our national and cultural values heritage. He noted that one of our forthcoming objectives is the promotion of Azerbaijan’s statehood history, national traditions, science and culture effectively.
The meeting held in a friendly and informal atmosphere was continued with interesting discussions.
