Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev, UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov, representative of the ministry of Education Shahin Bayramov and heads of companies attended the fair held at Park Inn Baku hotel.
Nearly 50 companies and organizations offered more than 300 vacancies and internship programs for students, masters, graduates, and disabled people at the fair organized to support youth employment. Mostly representatives from the economy, finance, banking, food and construction sectors were also represented at the fair.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev said that the main idea of job fairs is that students and graduates could find jobs. I.Babayev who calls organization of fairs having a positive impact on employment noted that the number of companies and vacancies had been increasing year by year. He noted that thousands of young people had been provided with permanent jobs and seasonal jobs through job fairs.
Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov said that the labor fair plays an important role for young people to find a job in accordance with their specialties: “Our students gained the right to make choices according to their own wishes and abilities. One of our goals that we are expecting is to study the demands of the companies that have come with vacancy and also to include them into the curriculum learning their wishes on professional skills and abilities. I am sure that most of the students participating here will be employed or gain experience. “
It should be noted that the fair will last till 18:00 in the evening.
