Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov made another successful initiative to help students and take advantage of the current situation.
The rector addressed UNEC students on his official Facebook page regarding the new initiative:
“Dear UNEC bachelors and masters,
I hope that you are good and continue your efforts to acquire modern knowledge as much as possible. We are working on various proposals to help you in this direction and make the most of the situation. In this regard, I decided to share with you the information about our first success.
UNEC has already joined the “Coursera for Campus” support program. As 2,000 bachelors and masters of UNEC have been exempted from paying for 3,800 online courses in 400 specialties from the world’s leading universities and companies (Duke University, University of London, Yale University, Johns Hopkins University, Illinois University, University of Michigan, UC San Diego University, Univeristy of Virginia, Hong Kong University, Indian School of Business, HEC Paris School of Management, University of Colorado, Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, University of Los Andes of Colombia, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, Şirkətlər: IBM, Google, Intel). Applications from the first 2,000 applicants will be accepted.
According to our decision, UNE bachelors and masters who successfully complete these courses and receive the relevant certificate will be exempted from the exams scheduled for the spring exam session in these subjects.

I would also like to remind you that according to our current decision, our students who have received IELTS, TOEFL, PTE ACADEMIC certificates are exempt from foreign language exams.
