UNEC Center for Cognitive Economics. The research center was established on Decision No. EN-155 of the meeting of the Scientific Council on December 27, 2017 of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and according to the order of UNEC Rector No. 1025/3/2017.
The director of Russian School of Economics Associate Professor Mansur Barkhudarov has been appointed to the post of the head of the centre on public bases in accordance with UNEC Rector Order 1025/3/2017.
The aim of the center is to reveal new scientific problems in the field of cognitive economy, by maximum use of the university’s scientific, educational and innovative potential; to apply fundamental scientific achievements in practice and in teaching, through inter-university and international cooperation, interaction with business and government structures.
The Center engages in research, education, innovation, consulting and expert activities in cognitive economics, behavioral economics, cognitive finance and cognitive management or carries the following tasks:
Implementation of research projects in the field of cognitive economics, behavioral economics, cognitive finance and cognitive management and subsequent publication of scientific articles
Development of directions in cognitive economy, behavioral economics, cognitive finance and cognitive management at the university: creation of a research platform on the basis of the center, attraction of intellectual resources
Organization of courses, workshops, seminars and other educational activities on the profile of the Center
