Efendiyev Osman Nasraddin oglu
He was born on December 18, 1941 in Birinci Shikhli village of Gazakh region.
After graduating from the First Shikhli village secondary school, he was admitted to Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute (now the Pedagogical University), graduating in 1963.
In 1963-1970 he held a responsible position in the Republican State Committee for Technical Vocational Education.
In 1970-1973 he continued his postgraduate education. In 1973, he defended his dissertation and received the degree of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences.
Since 1973, he has worked as a teacher, senior teacher, associate professor, professor at the “Philosophy” department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

In 1978-1980 he was a doctoral student at Moscow State University.
In 1995, he defended his dissertation and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
He is the author of more than 200 articles and 12 books on topical issues of philosophy.
He is a consultant-professor of the “Humanities” department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
