55 students of UNEC have successfully completed the training «Public Sector Audit»
Within the tripartite memorandum signed between the Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan, UNEC, and the State Audit Institute of Georgia, 2-month training on “Public Sector Audit” for students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting has been concluded.
For the first time, 55 students of UNEC participated in the practical trainings organized by the employees of the state body in order to provide personnel training. Students who have shown high activity and results in the study of “Public sector audit” are expected to be involved in the relevant structural units of the Accounting Chamber.
Sofio Dvalishvili, Deputy Auditor General of the Audit Office of Georgia, and department heads Giorgi Kapanadze and Tornike Shermadi, gave training to students on “Financial audit”, “Compliance audit” and “Efficiency audit” at the last stage of training. At the end of the training, certificates were presented to the participants.
During the visit to UNEC, the director of the State Audit Institute of Georgia, Gela Tsiklauri, the head of the training sector, Tinatin Sikmashvili, and other guests got acquainted with the organization of teaching work at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, the Extern Center, the 24/7 library, and the activities of the Bloomberg Finance laboratory.
