On the second day of the program, Elmir Safarli, the founder of the ISEFCO Consulting group and also a teacher of the International Master’s and Doctoral Center of UNEC, gave training to Swiss students on the topic of “Business environment in Azerbaijan”.
After the training, the students got acquainted with UNEC’s Bloomberg Finance Laboratory. The head of the laboratory, Saida Khalil, gave them detailed information about the activity of the laboratory. Students observed the process of conducting operations at the laboratory’s terminals, collecting information about companies, and at the same time global macroeconomic changes. In addition, the students familiarized themselves with the currency matrix and looked at the future exchange rates of the Swiss franc.
In the second half of the day, Swiss students had an info tour at the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA).
Zaur Gasimbayov, the director of the SME House, gave the students detailed information about the government institutions operating in the SME House and held interesting discussions with them. He explained in detail to the Swiss students what stages small and medium business entrepreneurs should go through to establish their own businesses.
