Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Professor Adalat Muradov met with the first-year undergraduates of the School of International Economic Relations.
Speaking to students about the goals set forth, Rector noted that the provision of the qualitative and competitive education meeting the requirement of the labor market is the priority at UNEC. Head of the University spoke about the ways of raising the teaching staff’s potential at UNEC that might conduct quality education, drawing the attention to the reforms implemented at the University. He said we are interested in attracting cadres educated abroad in accordance with the “State Program on Azerbaijan youths’ education abroad within 2007-2015”. We have already involved 121 teachers to our university. 68 of them are educated in America, Europe and Canada. 117 young people have been selected in accordance with the project “Young Teachers”. The project of “Young Professors” is also realizing in the University. The project aims to stimulate the young people who desire to be a Professor.
Saying- “One of the issues leading our goals is to attract more literate entrants to UNEC”, A.Muradov spoke of the plans of the university. He noted that the school children of the capital have been informed about UNEC within the visits to schools. The process will be continued. Tours to our Republic’s most popular schools are planned to be implemented.
Rector recommended the youth to graduate from the university with success, indicating to the opportunities created for them. Stressing to unsatisfactory attendance of the students at UNEC, A.Muradov urged the students to be more responsible.

It should be noted 333 students were enrolled to the School of International School of Economics.
