The Scientific- methodological Seminar held at the School of “Economics and Industry”
The first training of the scientific-methodological seminar permanently performing under the School of “Economics and Industry” of Azerbaijan State University of Economics was held on October 29.
Dean of the School of “Economics and Industry” Asiman Guliyev said that the role of the kind of trainings in improving the teaching staff’s knowledge is very important.
Head of the Scientific-methodological seminar, Head of the Department “Regulation of Economy”, Professor Mahish Ahmadov made a report on the urgent but not frequently studied problem of the economic science in Azerbaijan. In his report on “The State Mechanism for the Transition to the Sustainable Development Model in a Globalizing World”, M.Ahmadov especially emphasized that the process of globalization influences the interdependences of the national, regional and international economies in the world at the end of the twentieth century; each level of the socio-economic development of the national economy paradigm, the driving forces, providing harmony between nature and society in principle, on the road, in terms of the criteria and mechanisms to realize sustainable development and re-evaluation of objective necessity converts.
Head of the Department “Economy and Organization of Labor”, Professor Tofig Guliyev has told interesting considerations connected with the concept of sustainable development.
