UNEC celebrated the “Constitution Day” together with the combined school №189-190
A meeting dedicated to “November 12 Constitution Day” was held between the administration of the School of Economy and Industry” of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and the teaching and student staffs of the combined school №189-190 of Baku.
Director of the School Jeyran Guliyeva spoke about the cooperation between the school and the faculty of Economy and Industry. She said due to the cooperation with the largest faculty of the country for the number of students the new page is open in the history of the combined school №189-190. The implementation of the events to enhance students’ worldview, meetings with the prestigious experts and economists and other measures carried out in students’ formation are planned to be held within the cooperation.
Dean of the Faculty Economy and Industry Asiman Guliyev informed the students about UNEC. He spoke about the reforms carried out at the university and achievements gained by. Emphasizing that the meeting was devoted to a very significant date- the 20th Anniversary of adoption The Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, A.Guliyev spoke about the unprecedented role of our Constitution in the formation of our country’s statehood traditions. He said our first Constitution indicates the purpose of our young and independent state is to build democratic and legal society. Our Constitution directly developed under the leadership of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and adopted by the popular voting is based on building democratic society and protecting human rights and independence.
Deputy Dean of the Faculty Economy and Industry, senior teaching staff member of the UNEC Department Economic Law Sabuhi Tanriverdiyev said the Constitution established on the basis of great statehood traditions, national and universal values and which is of great importance to our independent state and people is the embodiment of logical conclusion of the historical way through which our people went and the centuries- old struggle for independence and the triumph.
