UNEC and Istanbul Aydın University to Collaborate on Inclusive Education Initiatives
A delegation from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) is currently on an official working visit to Turkey.
The delegation, comprising the Director of the Student Affairs Center, Khalida Yusifova; the Director of the Inclusive Education Center, Sevinj Mahsimova; and the Head of the Public Relations Department, Elnara Mammadova, held discussions at Istanbul Aydın University.
During their visit, the UNEC delegation met with the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Head of the Disability Services Center of Istanbul Aydın University. The meeting focused on exploring potential avenues for collaboration between the two institutions. Both parties reached a consensus on various areas of cooperation, including faculty and student exchange programs, the organization of joint events and conferences, the implementation of projects on inclusive education, and the publication of co-authored academic articles and books.
As part of the visit, UNEC representatives toured the university library, where preliminary agreements were made to facilitate mutual access to electronic library resources and ensure shared access to scientific research and educational materials.
The UNEC delegation also reviewed Istanbul Aydın University’s educational infrastructure, the facilities provided for students, and various social initiatives implemented by the university.
