The Professors of Gazi University at UNEC
The Professor of Gazi University of Turkey Selaheddin Eyyubi and the Dean of the School of Economics and Management Prof. Dr Mehmet Yeshiltash have visited Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). Meeting with the executives of the School of Turkic World of Business Administration and the Department of Economics and Business Administration, Selaheddin Eyyubi has made exchange of views about conducting joint researches between the two universities, academic staff’s exchange and prospective cooperation issues.
Afterwards Prof. Dr Mehmet Yeshiltash said the students majoring in tourism that the tourism is of global significance, regulates social and economic relations, creates mutual relations among the different counties and nations and expands the scope of business interests. The topics of the development of tourism, comparison of the world and Turkey’s tourism, promoting tourism laws, the impact of political problems in the tourism sector, Azerbaijan’s tourism potential, factors that influence the development of tourism in our country have been talked about within the lecture.
The issue of the factors effecting the development of tourism in Azerbaijan was of great interest by the students. Speaking about the factors affecting to the development of tourism the Professor has emphasized the necessity of the development of master plans by the touristic regions initially.
Exchanging his views on eliminating the factors negatively affecting the tourism sector, the Professor responded students’ questions on the issue.
