UNEC Students were awarded diplomas
Awarding ceremony of the Republican Championship held among the students of higher education institutions supported by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Republic Committee of Independent Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Employees and the Public Association of Azerbaijan Trade Union Committees’ Sports Organizations, organized by the Republic Sports Center “Tehsil” (“Education”) and “Genclik” (Youth) Student Sports Association Republic Board.
UNEC team became I of the competitions held on 9 sport types among the students of higher education institutions within March-May of the year. UNEC students achieved the II and III places in athletics, freestyle wrestling and Greco- Roman wrestling.
ACTU Chairman, member of the Parliament Sattar Mehbaliyev congratulated young sportsmen for their victories on sports contests, wished them new success in their education and sport during the awarding ceremony held in Azerbaijan Confederation of Trade Union Committees. Later the Confederation Chairman presented the winners’ awards.
