Rector debates to Student Rector: “Parents can follow the teaching process”
Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Professor Adalat Muradov has met with the newly elected Student Rector ShahinHasanov on July 13.
UNEC Rector spoke about UNEC’s goals and projects to be implemented in a new academic year within the meeting. The importance of Student Rector’s co-relation with the student organizations performing at UNEC and the realization of joint projects were emphasized. They also discussed ways to improve student-teacher relations further. The advantages of further intensification of meetings with parents and it was decided that the parents’ attendance in the teaching process will be provided in a new academic year.
Increasing the number of different intellectual competitions, youths’ motivation, improvement of the students’ self- assessment and the establishment of the “Student senate” were the main topics discussed at the meeting. “Rector said that the “Student senate” will play important role in resolving their problems.
At the end of the meeting Rector wished the Student Rector success in his performance.
