The next “ISE Economic Talk” has been held by UNEC’s International School of Economics on April 27.
One of the most urgent topics of agenda the “Economic Development Perspectives of Post-oil period” was debated in the economic platform of UNEC this time. An Assistant Professor of the Department of International Economics, Advisor to the Rector Elshan Baghirzade held talks on the theme.
E.Baghirzade drew to attention to the official indicators of the statements revealed by the international organizations. He presented separate indicators on the countries and submitted their comparison. He spoke about the policies available in the post-oil period; mentioned about the current situation and the future perspectives.
The topic became of great interest by the students and went on with debates.
About the Project “ISE Economic Talks”: The goal of the project is to bring UNEC’s teachers, research fellows and students together in a unique economic platform and to organize their discussions. The most pressing economic topics and problems of the global economy, as well as the country are being debated in “ISE Economic Talks”. At the same time, the “Discussion Day” of economic “bestsellers” of the globe have also been planned to organize. The subjects of the talks arranged twice a month are defined by voting. According to the proposals, new directions of discussions are being determined. Debates are also been broadcast in the virtual economic forum of UNEC Diskurs.az. The Head of “ISE Economic Talks” is a teaching staff of the Department of “International Economics” Tahmasib Alizade.
