Academic staff and experts of UNEC Department of “Finance and Accounting” conducted debates on ensuring sustainable development in post-oil period.
Making a speech on “Monetary Factors of the provision of Sustainable Development in Post-oil Period”, a Professor of the Department of “Finance and Financial Institutions” Mubariz Baghirov noted that the economic policy has been chosen in the country properly and the priorities are implemented successfully.
Afterwards, concrete proposals to achieve sustainable development were made. It was noted that the application of the neutral taxes for the development of entrepreneurship in the necessary areas, expansion of external funding sources and the application of tax incentives in the export-oriented manufacturing are important for the development of entrepreneurship. The economists considered it necessary to improve circulation to strengthen the impact of monetary factors, to reduce loan interest rates for the provision of business activities.
Finally, it was decided to arrange regular meetings to discuss urgent problems and to deliver the materials of scientific seminars to the employees and students of the faculty.
