Event dedicated to the National Salvation Day held at ASUE
On June 10 event dedicated to the National Salvation Day was held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
Member of the Parliament (Milli Majlis) Chairman of the Council of Elders Fattah Heydarov, ASUE Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov and academic staff of the University took part at the event.
Making an opening speech Rector of ASUE, Professor Adalat Muradov noted the June 15- National Salvation Day as an important turning point in the history of Azerbaijan. He stressed that, Azerbaijan has lived a very difficult period during the first years of independence. Prevailing political tensions, the economic crisis led the country to the threat of civil war. Returning to power at the insistence of the people, the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was able to achieve stability. Azerbaijan entered the economic stability and development in a short period’s time. A. Muradov pointed that this development became possible as a result of the strong economic strategy established by the Great Leader.
Making a speech, Chairman of the Council of Elders, member of the Parliament Fattah Heydarov spoke about his memories related with the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He noted that, the solidarity in the country has been established with the Great Leader’s love and courage and citizens has managed to unite around the national interests. The economic recession had been prevented in the country as a result of far- sighted policy and renewable stability. Fattah Heydarov said that, the country soon embarked on the development from the stability and today Azerbaijan is included today in the list of the world’s most rapidly developing countries. According to him, the country achieved economic power is preparing to host a prestigious event like the European Games. The economic and political course established by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is now successfully continued by his follower President Ilham Aliyev.
Head of the Department “Economy and Management of Social Sphere”, Professor Ali Alirzayev and Head of the Department “History”, Professor Hidayat Jafarov spoke about their impressions related with the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and his unprecedented contributions in achieving the dynamic development of Azerbaijan.
