ASUE Employee becomes the Participant of the “International Visitor Leadership Program” of the USA
Dean of the School of Commerce of Azerbaijan State University of Economics Miragha Ahmadov participated in the “International Visitor Leadership Program” of the United States of America.
The Project sponsored by the Department of State of the U.S., executed by the International Education Institute on The Administration of Higher Education in the U.S. International Visitors Leadership aims to become acquainted with the administrative structure of U.S. higher education institutions, current issues in the management of higher education, to review the challenges and reforms and to learn about the important role of new trends in the management of strategic planning in higher education.
M.Ahmadov toured to some states of the USA within the program; attended various conferences on introduction to American Higher Education System, Generally Higher Educational Institutions, Oil Engineering Programs, partnership between the universities and private businesses, economic impact of international sports events, support made by the state to universities, trainings on science, technology, engineering and mathematics, community colleges and workforce development.
Meetings with some officials were made at the Institute of International Education and Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. For his active participation M.Ahmadov was awarded with the Certificate by the Director of the “International Visitor Leadership Program” Alma R.Candelaria.
