The teachers of the chair of “Foreign languages” of UNEC gave the detailed information to the french professor about Guba mass grave discovered in April, 2007. It was noted that, the bones of more than 400 people, mostly children, women and elderly people, had been found in the mass grave. The guest was informed that, only in the last century the population of Azerbaijan was exposed to armenian genocide three times.
The french professor, commemorating the victims of the genocide, said that she was terrified of what she saw in the grave. She called the Guba genocide the crime against the humanity. J.Veillon, writing heartfelt note in the memoir book, said that she would share with colleagues and the students at the university where she was working what she had seen here.
The UNEC teachers presented to the guest the English language publications on genocides executed in various regions of Azerbaijan, as well as in Guba.
