Commemoration day of National leader Heydar Aliyev is celebrated at UNEC
An event was held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on the occasion of the commemoration day of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Before the event, the UNEC team visited the national leader’s grave in Fakhri Khiyaban and laid flowers in front of the grave.
At the opening of the official event, the dear memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Vice-rector of UNEC, associate professor Shaiq Asgarov, spoke about the exceptional services of the national leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, in the history of the statehood of the country, and said that the world-famous political figure became a living legend during his lifetime and represented his masterpiece, independent Azerbaijan, in the whole world. Saying that the great leader Heydar Aliyev was distinguished from the world leaders with his knowledge, thinking ability, determination, strong will and leadership skills, the vice-rector voiced the valuable opinions of the world’s well-known politicians about the great leader.
Hikmet Babayev, chairman of the territorial party organization of NAP Sabail district organization on “Istiglaliyet 6”, spoke about the fact that the national leader Heydar Aliyev always prioritized the interests of Azerbaijan, and pointed out that the political legacy of the great leader Heydar Aliyev should be passed on to future generations.
Speaking at the event, Professor Mahabbat Pashayeva and Professor Vakil Hasanov talked about Heydar Aliyev’s exceptional services in the history of Azerbaijan statehood, his rich life and management experience, and his great rescue mission.
Then the participants watched a video dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event ended with the poem “Heydar Aliyev is immortal, eternal” said by the students!
