The III-rd Student Scientific Conference dedicated to the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day was held at the Russian Economics School (RES) of  UNEC.

The representatives of the authoritative, prestigious universities of Azerbaijan and Russia, as well as the representatives of the scientific centers, the students of bachelors degree level and the masters degree level of education participated in the scientific conference dedicated to the topic “The economy of Azerbaijan in the modern conditions: the realities and expectations”.

The pro-rector of UNEC in education and training technologies, professor Damat Baghirov speaking in the opening session of the conference, stressing the importance of science and education in the development of the society, spoke about the care and the attention of the state to this field. D. Baghirov, noting , the special attention focused on the increase of interest of young people in the scientific researches in the country, pointed to the tasks the higher education institutions facing in this direction.

D.Baghirov, noting that the great importance had been given in the country to increasing of the interest of young people to scientific researches, drew the attention to the tasks set before the higher education institutions. H e talked about the projects implemented at UNEC, the conducted researches and the work done to attract the young people to scientific activity.

 Anar Eyyubov, the deputy dean of RES and the head of the “Economics” chair, professor Muslum Ibrahimov spoke about the importance of holding the student scietific conferences. They emphasized the role of holding these conferences in raising the interest of the students in the scietific researches, developing the scientific and practical projects, including the formation of thier knowledge and skills.

The conference continued its work in the plenary and sectional meetings. During the plenary and sectional sessions, were listened 187 scientific reports on the topics “The current state and trends of the development of the national economy in the condition of globalization”, “the Azerbaijani financial system iin the context of the new challenges of the world economy”, “The innovative technologies of the management in the context of the transformation of the national economy”, “Azerbaijan in the context of intersection of geopolitical interests of the world and the regional powers” of the students and the  masters degree level students of the leading universities of Russia and Azerbaijan.

At the end, the participants of the conference were presented the certificates.
