Born on January 17, 1959, in Baku, Azerbaijan, is a distinguished scholar in the field of biology and environmental sciences.
In 1976, he was admitted to the Faculty of Geography and Biology at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute, graduating with honors in 1981. Following his graduation, he began his career at the Institute of Zoology under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), where he worked from 1981 to 1995.
From 1981 to 1983, Mr. Tariverdiyev fulfilled his military service in the Soviet Armed Forces.
In 1993, he defended his candidate dissertation, earning the academic title of Candidate of Biological Sciences (Ph.D.).
Since 1996, he has been affiliated with the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), where he currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the “Environmental Protection and Economics” Department.
Dr. Tariverdiyev is married and has two children.
