Senior/ lecturer Jafarova Afat Mastan
In 1993, she finished secondary school No. 145 in Baku.
In 1993, she entered the Azerbaijan University of Technology in Ganja. In 1994, she was transferred to the “Non-food Commodity Studies” specialty of the Baku Institute of Commodities and Commerce, in 1997 she graduated from the Baku Institute of Commodities and Commerce with a bachelor’s degree in “Non-food Commodity Studies”, and in 1997-1999, in the specialty of the same name of the same institute studied at the master’s level and graduated with honors .
In 1999, she delivered hourly lessons at the department “Commodity of non-food goods” of the Baku Commodity Commercial Institute. In 2000, she worked as a teacher at the Department of “Non-Food Commodities” of the Baku Commodity Commercial Institute. Since 2001, I have worked as a senior lecturer at the “Quality Expertise of Consumer Goods” department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and in 2002, she was a post-graduate student of the “Quality Expertise of Consumer Goods” department.
Since 2020, she has been working as a senior teacher of the “Engineering and Applied Sciences” department.
She is the author and co-author of 49 scientific-methodical works (18 theses, 23 articles, 4 typical programs, 4 textbooks).
Since 2010, she has been the chairman of SSC of the Faculty.
In 2016, she became a member of the Teaching Commissions.
She became a member of the UNEC Young Teachers Council, which was established in November 2017.
She was elected to the position of “Envoy of Quality” in the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) to improve the quality of education and identify existing problems in its organization.
She participated in many trainings, seminars and courses in the direction of self-development and was awarded a certificate, an honorary certificate and a letter of appreciation.
On 25.11 in 2020, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the University of Economics of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and for her services in the development of education, and for his effective scientific and pedagogical activities in the training of highly qualified professional economists, she was awarded the Order of Honor by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On 19.06.2023 she was awarded by the rector of the University of Economics of the Republic of Azerbaijan professor Adalat Muradov with a letter of thanks for her active participation in the life of the University.
She is married and has two children.
