“Clarivate” Highlights: UNEC as a Global Leader in Scientific Research
The Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has demonstrated substantial advancements in scientific research, establishing itself as a prominent institution on the global stage.
According to recent data from Clarivate, UNEC has significantly increased its scholarly output in high-quality international databases, showcasing a commitment to academic excellence and research impact. Over recent years, the number of UNEC’s publications indexed in the “Web of Science” database has grown by an impressive 226-fold since 2015, accompanied by a 360-fold increase in citations to these articles. Furthermore, UNEC has achieved notable success in publishing high-impact research, with its Q1 (top-tier) publications increasing by 63-fold within the last seven years.
Valentin Bogorov, a representative from Clarivate, commended UNEC’s accomplishments, highlighting its unprecedented growth trajectory. Bogorov noted that no other university globally has reached such a level of success, positioning UNEC as a leading institution in research development and academic influence.
