Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Firudin Qurbanov, Secretary of the National Coordinating Council for Sustainable Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan Huseyn Huseynov, UNEC leadership and SABAH Teachers-Student staff attended the event.
UNEC rector, Professor Adalat Muradov called SABAH a successful model of Azerbaijan’s higher education system. He said that UNEC incorporates approximately one-third of the SABAH students, and said he was proud of it. Muradov emphasized that the SABAH model is intended to be expanded at the university. Noting that qualitative education passes through qualitative research, the rector said that UNEC students have the opportunity to earn up to 4,000 manats for their scientific articles published in Web of Science or Scopus.
Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Qurbanov drew attention to the fact that the conference was devoted to the pressing topic. Deputy Minister spoke about the goals of sustainable development, the importance of orders issued by President Ilham Aliyev in this direction, and measures taken in this direction in our country.
The conference continued with plenary sessions. At the plenary session Aydin Ismayilov, a fourth-year student, spoke on the topic “Perspectives of modern commercial banks in the field of sustainable development” and Khayal Mammadli on “Development of social media marketing campaign for small businesses”.
The conference featured 130 articles from both foreign and local graduates from Hungary, Poland, Belarus, Italy, England, Germany and other countries.
At the end of the students received certificates.
