Registration for the virtual economic forum DISKURS.AZ is in progress
The registration for the new project of Azerbaijan State University of Economics-economic scholars’ and researchers’ virtual economic forum DISKURS.AZ is in progress.
The virtual economic forum diskurs.az aims to create the space where the well-known economists of Azerbaijan, as well as foreign countries could come together to discuss the most pressing issues in economics. In addition, the virtual forum allows placing materials on issues that are of interest, but also to evaluate and give comments on them. Expert overview of economic trends and opinions and suggestions of experts on various economic issues will take place in the forum. At the same time, users will be given a chance of creating additional sections to suit their own interests.
The users will become the players of such a unique “intelligent platform” where they will be able to negotiate urgent issues of economy and business with the country’s leading economists and the specialists of various fields directly.
The forum plays the role of the platform enabling to debate. The specialists will be able to formulate joint proposals to engage in discussions on a variety of economic issues. Different economic schools, as well as independent experts are invited in debates.
E- forum also serves as a vehicle for the permanent feedback by economists and will give the opportunity to conduct surveys on a variety of topics among the users of the site from Azerbaijan as well as citizens of foreign countries.
The project, at the same time, includes certain teaching element. Thus, our students will have the opportunity to follow the debates and take advantage of them.
The forum will be attended by economists in two forms.
The first- a form of short articles, the second- a form of questions and debate the issues.
The site gives users a sufficient wide range of capabilities. In other words, a list of all registered users can be overviewed on one page, it allows to get the information about them, their articles and works, articles belonging to any category and the current debate groups on one page.
Participation in the forum is based on registration. Unregistered users only can read the materials. The site limits them to join the discussions. The administration is carried out by forum moderator.
The site will operate in three languages- Azerbaijani, Russian and English. Any materials of the forum can be shared on social network. The new “UNEC Expert” journal by Azerbaijan State University of Economics will be placed at diskurs.az virtual economic forum.
