She was born in 1959 in Baku.
In 1982 she entered Azerbaijan Institute of Foreign Languages, majoring in English.
She has worked as a laboratory assistant at the department of Oriental Studies of Academy of Sciences, and since 1993 as a senior lecturer at the department of Foreign Languages-1.

In 2007 she defended her dissertation at the Institute of Linguistics of ANAS and received the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences. She teaches general English.
She is currently an associate professor of the department of Foreign Languages of UNEC.
She is the author of a textbook (“A course in English for students of Economics” Baku, Nurlan 2011, 295p.), and a program and 20 articles.
