Zohra Hasanova was born on May 20, 1947 in Nakhchivan city.
She went to the secondary school #2 of the same city in 1955 and left school in 1966. She entered the “Mechanics-mathematics” faculty of the Azerbaijan State University named after S.M.Kirov in 1966.
She graduated from the University in 1971. Until 1980 she taught the Informatics sciences at the Nakhchivan Pedagogical Institute and the subject “Mathematics” at the secondary school # 2.
She worked as the engineer-programmer at the Information Calculation Centre of the Azerbaijan People’s Economy Institute named after D.Bunyadzade over 1980-1988 years, then she occupied the position of the senior engineer at the branch of LMII named after N.A.Voznesenski and then advanced to the key programmer. She was admitted to the Baku State University as a candidate for a degree in 2001. In 2002, she was appointed the Director of the Information Calculation Centre of the Azerbaijan State Economic University.
She defended the dissertation for the candidacy on physics-mathematics sciences on the topic of “Optimal solutions for one in-put and 1 out-put synthesis task” in 2003.
The Information Calculating Centre was restructured as the Centre for Information Communication Technologies in October 2010. The Centre is consisted of three Sections.
Currently, she is the Director and assistant professor at the “Information economy and technologies” department of the Centre.
According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 24, 2020, she was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Teacher” on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan State University of Economics and for his services to the development of education in Azerbaijan.
