Cand. of Econ. Scien., Assoc.Prof. Mehdiyeva Leyla Tofig
She was born on June 25, 1972, in Baku.
In 1989 she entered the Baku branch of the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics named after N.A. Voznesensky.
In 1994, she graduated with honors from the Azerbaijan State Economic Institute.
In 2001 she entered the postgraduate course at the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
In 2005 she defended her thesis. She is a candidate of economic sciences.

From 1994 to 2008 she worked as a teacher at BBY.
Since 2008, she has worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of ‘’Tax and Taxation’’ of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She is currently an instuktor of the department of “Finance and accounting”
She is the author of 15 scientific works.
Married and has two children.
