Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Qushkhani Rauf Nasir
He was born on August 1, 1953 in Shamakhi, Azerbaijan.
He graduated from secondary school in 1972.
In 1973 he entered the faculty of “Accounting” at the Institute of National Economy named after D. Bunyadzade.
In 1977 he graduated from this institute and was assigned to the position of accountant at the “Bahar” Combine operating under the Baku City Department of the Ministry of Household Appliances.
In September 1977, he worked as an engineer-economist at the Technical and Economical Investigation department of the HAM’s Design and Technological Institute.
On September 25, 1979 – chief engineer of that department;
On September 16, 1980, he worked as a department head.
On May 30, 1986 he was admitted to the Economic Research Institute under the State Planning Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a junior scientific worker at the department of Social Development Problems Planning.
In September 1986 he entered correspondence post-graduate course of “Chemical-technological scientific research” Institute subordinated to the Russian Federation Ministry of Household Appliances.
On February 28, 1989 he defended his scientific work. He is a candidate of economic sciences.

On February 2, 1990 he was appointed Deputy Director of the Normative Research Bureau of the State Planning Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On May 10, 1990 he was appointed chief specialist of the department of “Application of new economic methods in production” of the Ministry of Light Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On September 10, 1990 he was appointed deputy head of the same department and deputy director of the ministry. From July 27, 1992 he was appointed director of the same center. On 30.06.97, he was dismissed from the position after its cancellation. On 29.08.1997 he was appointed Deputy Director for Economic Affairs of “Assistant Goods”. On 07.08.1998 he was appointed chief economist at Azerbaijan Technical University.
In 27.01.2000, he worked as the head of the department of Logistics of the University.
In 12.01.2002 worked as a senior lecturer at the department “Industrial Economics and Management”.
From 2002 to 2017 he was the assistant professor of “Finance and Financial Institutions” department.
At present he is the assistant professor of the chair “Economy” (Russian) of UNEC.
He is married, has a son and two grandchildren.
