PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Pashayev Zohrab Shahin
He was born on February 24, 1978, in the city of Baku.
He left school in 1994. On September 14 of the same year, our national leader Heydar Aliyev made a speech at the meeting with students admitted to universities.
In 1999, he graduated from the Azerbaijan Cooperation Institute with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Credit.
In 2001 he entered the masters of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, majoring in Finance and Credit;
He graduated with honors in 2003.
In 2001-2003 he worked as a laboratory assistant, economist and head of the general department at the Institute of Economics of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
Since 2003, he has worked as a laboratory assistant at the interdepartmental training and practice laboratory “Finance” and “Banking” of the University of Economics.
Since 2005 he has given hourly lessons at the “Taxes and Taxation” department.
In 2003-2008 he was a student for a degree at the University of Economics.
He has worked as a headteacher since 2011.
He is currently an associate professor at the department of Finance and Financial Institutions, UNEC.

On November 24, 2012, he defended his thesis on “Problems of formation of optimal budget tax policy” at the dissertation council FD.01.211 established under the Nakhchivan Branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and received the title of PhD in Economics.
On November 27, 2011, he was awarded the Order of Honor by the decision of the Board of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan T-393.
He is currently an instuctor of the department of “Finance and accounting”.
He is the author of 15 scientific works.
He has participated in a number of international scientific conferences.
