“Plagiat.pl” Company of Poland starts trainings at UNEC
A well-known company “Plagiat.pl” of Poland has started trainings at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on November 18.
Director of UNEC’s Doctoral Studies Hamid Hamidov provided the participants about the essence of the training. He said the requirements on preventing plagiarism and improving the quality of education are included into the relevant decree on “Strengthening struggle against plagiarism in teaching facilities developed in higher education institutions” signed by the Education Minister. To this end, a program of plagiarism has been launched at UNEC since the last academic year. The process will be in progress from the new academic year. Appropriate employees of departments will be informed about the assessment of their training methodological facilities, theses and graduation papers by means of anti-plagiarism system.
Then the representative of the company “Plagiat.pl” informed the participants about the working mechanism of the program.
Measures against plagiarism were debated and the participants’ questions were responded in the end.
