The creativity evening of the students with special talents of the Russian School of Economics was held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). Presentation of the book titled “I taught my heart to laugh” by a student- poet Sabina Gadirova and opening of the club “UNEC RES Stars” took place within the event.
Director of the Russian School of Economics, Associate Professor Mansur Barkhudarov spoke about the importance of “UNEC RES Stars” club in revealing youths’ creativity potential: “XXI Century demand higher education institutions to train students with new thinking, mentality and with high imagination. The club will play a major role in proper formation of the students’ creative imagination and further development it.
Advisor to the Russian Ambassador on education, science and culture Valentin Denisov highly appreciated the students’ creativity skills: “The creative imagination plays a big rolein all spheres of human activity. The development of students’ cognitive processes, in particular, interaction of thinking and feelings depend on the level of development of imagination. I am impressed by the possibilities of the students’ creativity at UNEC. To make efficient use of these opportunities and you can freely enjoy all the facilities of the Russian Information and Culture Center.” V.Denisov noted that the Embassy would cooperate with the Russian School of Economics in various areas.
The Creativity Evening was followed by the students’ singing, dancing and literary reading performances.
