The rules for the admission to Doctoral Studies of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) came into force. According to the Academic Council of UNEC, the entrance examination on English for PhD Program of the University will be realized by the British Council.
According to another novelty, candidates possessing the international certificates of IELTS and TOEFL will set free from the English exam. Amendments will also be applied to the candidates applied for the Doctoral Program and pass English exam. The main goal in applying innovations is to increase the English Language skills required for academic level of providing the objectivity in admission.
In addition, admission of documents for Doctoral and PhD Programs for the next academic year is planned to be fully digitalized.
It should be noted that the number of applicants submitted for the Doctoral Program of UNEC have significantly increased to 104 in 2015, while it was 52 in 2013and 63 in 2014.
