The National Revival Day marked at UNEC
Event dedicated to the National Revival Day has been marked at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on November 17.
The Schools’ Deans, teaching and student staffs attended the events held in all academic buildings of UNEC. Having a glance to the history of the National Revival Day, the speakers spoke about the day’s importance in gaining the country’s independence. It was said that November 17 when Azerbaijani people pretested against the Soviet state’s anti- Azerbaijan policy in the squares is being celebrated since 1992 as the Day of National Revival. The speakers highlighted that the movement as the laying down the foundation of war for liberal Azerbaijan and the young people as the main force of this movement. They noted that there was peace in the country after the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s return to power at the people’s request and Azerbaijan embarked on the path of sustainable development.
The event was continued with the participants’ speeches based on historical facts.
