A film “Day of Khojali” was shot with support of the German Organization SEVDA- Pflegediens GmbH on the eve of the 25th anniversary of Khojali Genocide. The film produced by the German filmmakers was in general shot in Baku, but the chronicles were used. Chairman of the Writers’ Union, writer Anar, Vice-rector of UNEC for Economic Affairs, veteran Mikayil Zeynalov, commander of the order of “Azerbaijan Flag” Ibad Huseynov and Khojali residents who subjected to torture in the moment of massacre took part in the film. Head of UNEC’s Creativity Center Elman Jafarov took a role of a presenter in the film.
The film is focused on delivering the realities about the genocide against our people to the European citizens. The film produced by the German film experts was demonstrated in German-speaking countries and some parts of Russia. The demonstration of the film is planned to be demonstrated in some parts of the Europe on March 31- the day of Azerbaijan’s Genocide.
The film’s screen writer is an Azerbaijan citizen, Presidential scholar Vusal Nuru.
