Meeting with young scholars has taken place at UNEC.
The goal of the meeting organized by UNEC’s Young Scholars Board (YSB) was hearing of the articles to be introduced for the competition on “Young Research Fellows and Financial Literacy”.
Head of the Department “Finance and Financial Institutions”, Professor Avaz Alakbarov spoke about the state’s attention and care rendered to the development of science and education, especially to young researchers. He talked about the steps taken to improve the quality of scientific-research works and involving young scholars to teaching.
Chairman of the YSB of UNEC Vugar Mammadzade delivered expanded information about the contest. He said scientific articles written by 3 young scholars of UNEC will be presented to the competition organized by the Science Development Fund, Central Bank and Savings Fund on International Cooperation of Germany. The competition will be implemented within the financial literacy project that serves the popularization of the science among the young scientists and stimulation of scientific activity. According to the terms of the contest, the introduced articles should go through the approbation within the months February-April of 2017 on the topic.
Scientific articles such as “Models and Approaches for the Financial Awareness of Young People” written by the Associate Professor of the Department of “Technological Machines and Field Equipment” Nurlana Kerimova, “Ways to assess the Financial Literacy of the Citizens and improve Financial Services” by the teacher of the Department of “Finance and Financial Institutions” Yashar Demirov and “Domestic Monetary Policy and State Finance” by the nominee doctor of the Department Samir Aghayev were heard.
The meeting went on with debates.
